The Roll for Vegetarians and Meat-Lovers: Half Spinach and Half Ham Roll

Half vegetarian, half meaty, this dish will make both meat-lovers and vegetarians happy.

So if you have one or more vegetarians in your family, this recipe will make your time in the kitchen a lot easier: no need to use multiple pans to cook different things for everyone’s diet.

With just one roll of puff pastry you can make a great dinner for 4 people.

Here’s what you need:

  • One roll of puff pastry
  • Spinach
  • One onion
  • Grated cheese
  • Ham

Unroll the pastry and while you grate the cheese, boil the spinach.
When ready, make sure you drain them carefully or they’ll make the pastry go soggy.
Chop the onion and mix it with the spinach.

Lay the spinach on half the pastry, the lay the ham on the other half.
Sprinkle the cheese on top, add a pinch of salt and pepper, then fold the pastry to make a roll and seal it. Make a few holes on top with a fork and put the roll in the oven at 200°C. After 40 minutes check the roll and if it’s crisssssspy it’s ready!
