It’s the middle of the week and I have to admit I’ve given up all good intentions and decided to treat myself to a giant bowl of pasta. Carb overload! No regrets. 🙂

Here’s how you can make your very own giant bowl of Spaghetti with Clams and Chili Peppers. Spicy! To help your metabolism digest the pasta 😉
Prepare the Healthy Italian Spaghetti with Clams and Chili Peppers
What you need:
- Olive oil
- Clams (I like the ones without the shell, they’re quick to cook and less messy)
- Chili Peppers – dried or fresh ones
While the spaghetti cook, grab a pan and pour a good amount of olive oil. Let the garlic fry in the oil for a couple of minutes, then pour the clams and the chili peppers in the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes.
When the pasta is ready, pour it in the other pan and stir so as to mix the spaghetti with the olive oil, clams and chili peppers.
Leave the pasta in the pan for 5 minutes with the lid on so that it soaks in all the juices and gets even more tasty.
Pour the pasta in a big enough dish and sprinkle some basil on top.
